Frontline II

A grey relief-like surface is crossed by rough diagonal bands, embedded fragments and clusters of raised stone-like forms.

Jagged foil, stone and eggshells are embedded beneath paint, plaster and graphite. Scraped lines and resistant textures produce a hard, fractured surface. The material investigation responds to landscapes shaped by warfare, colonisation and the exercise of power.
