Agape

Pale, heavily textured circular and branching forms gather around a dense centre, with darker grey traces beneath raised white layers.

Built through contrasting layers of foil, graphite, paint and organic materials, Agape brings earlier material experiments into one composition. Tree-ring-like movement connects growth, sacrifice and renewal with the relationship between creator and creation. The artist considers unconditional love through the gifts of different seasons of life.
