Biosphere II

A dense field of small black rings, spots and irregular cellular marks spreads across a white surface.

A stippled field of small, irregular cells develops from the interaction of acrylic paint, shaving foam and glue. The study connects material discovery with the visual language of microscopic environments, repetition and the changing balance of a biosphere.
