Twilight 19:27

Capturing Time — six observational studies / Study 5 of 6

A softly defined pale bowl with a rust-brown centre emerges from a muted olive and sepia field.

Observed after sundown on the seventh night, the still life moves into a restrained sepia atmosphere. Soft pastel layers and smudging soften the vessel’s form as the flowers decay, connecting low illumination with time’s gradual passage into memory.
