Capturing Time — six observational studies / Study 3 of 6

A circular bowl is surrounded by bright orange, green, yellow and red angular marks, with dark lines cutting through the saturated field.

Direct midday sunlight is translated into separate blocks of saturated colour and rigid, energetic marks. Acrylic paint pens register the harsh divisions of light and shade, while the bowl and its shadow become a study of solar energy and pace.
