Vibrancy Caught in Light and Glass

A circular orange prism-like form floats across a dotted field of burnt orange and blue, with a deep blue shadow extending towards the left.

An observation of light through glass becomes an energetic investigation of pattern, colour and perceived depth. Orange and blue marks build an abstracted prism, while a cool glaze pushes the surrounding space backwards. The painting transforms the observed subject through saturation, repetition and spatial play.
