Glitched

Overlapping translucent marks and dark vertical lines interrupt luminous yellow-green, blue and violet bands of light.

Glitched began with photographed light caught through a glass sphere. After digitally fracturing the image, the altered light was reconstructed in physical form across three painted transparent sheets. Backlighting causes colours and contours to interfere, translating digital distortion into an unstable, physical encounter with light.
