Dense dark and grey tonal fields meet pale curling contours with small blue, yellow and pink areas on a finely textured surface.

Seven related images investigate textured surfaces through rounded forms, folds, branching lines and layered colour. Contrasts range from soft, sparse tones to dense dark fields with pale curling edges. They are retained as a related study group; the images do not establish the number of separate physical supports or a production sequence.
