A partially visible figure and pale looping marks are embedded in a dark, heavily layered field of grey, green, ochre and pink fragments.

A figure survives as an intermittent trace inside a dense, compressed painted field. Marbling, staining and accumulated layers disrupt recognition, allowing memory to emerge through pressure, residue and partial erasure rather than a stable portrait.
