Victoria’s Secret

Textured pink and brown anatomical forms, bulging eyes and many tooth-filled mouths crossed by blue and acid-green straps, chains and bows.

Dismantled bras and reused household materials turn boudoir glamour into flesh, teeth, chains and proliferating mouths. Intensified colour and absurdism accompany a critique of the commodification of women’s bodies, beauty standards and identities. Acid-green and blue restraints interrupt the fleshy surface; decorative bows become instruments of control.
